The Voigtlander Close Focus II Leica M / Sony E is a top-of-the-range adapter that allows the use of excellent Leica M bayonet lenses on Sony E-mount cameras. In addition to just being able to mount rangefinder lenses, the bayonet adapter also allows you to reduce their minimum focus distance.

Close Focus – closer than you think
Rangefinder lenses, due to the design of the cameras they are designed for, have quite large minimum focusing distances of typically 50 to even 100 cm. The Voigtlander adapter is equipped with a special helicoid, thanks to which the lens can be brought closer or further away from the camera sensor. This gives you the possibility to focus from much shorter distances.

The adapter has been made from high quality metal even with jeweller’s precision. The precision of the fit of the components and the materials used ensure precise and long-lasting operation of the mechanism. The set includes also lids for its front and back.
