LED Light Aputure Amaran AL-F7

Description

The Aputure Amaran AL-F7 is a small LED lamp, created to work on a camera, camcorder or in cooperation with a gimbal. It provides professional lighting wherever there is a lack of light and it is impossible to set up large lamps.

Variable colour temperature

The Aputure AL-F7 lamp uses two types of LEDs, generating light with different colour temperatures:

• 3200 K – warm white light, similar in colour to incandescent light
• 9500 K – cold white light, similar in colour to sky-blue light

Thanks to the functionality of varying the intensity of the light generated, by individual groups of diodes, the lamp offers the possibility of smooth and extremely precise adjustment of not only the power, but also the colour temperature of the light. This makes it possible to easily combine multiple sources of continuous and flash light and to adjust the colours to the ambient light. Also noteworthy is the lamp’s enormous colour range. While the competition boasts a range of 3200 K – 5500 K, the Aputure AL-F7 pushes the boundaries, offering a range of 3200 K – 9500 K.

Perfect light quality

The excellent colour reproduction of the emitted light is evidenced by the high CRI and TLCI values. These indicate the degree of similarity of the light to the spectrum of natural sunlight and range from 0 to 100. The higher the value, the better the colour rendering of the illuminated objects – they look more natural. A value above 95 guarantees colour fidelity and correctly reproduced depth of tone.

Small in size, huge in power

Despite its small size, the AL-F7 lamp shocks with its above-average power. The 256 extremely bright LEDs that make up the light panel generate a flux of up to 5500 lux (at a distance of 0.5 m).

Multiple power options

An indisputable advantage of the lamp is the variety of its power supply methods. The Amaran AL-F7 can use NP-F series batteries, power supplies and power banks equipped with a USB Type C connector, as well as other power sources via a D-Tap cable.

Convenient and fast control

The lamp control panel is conveniently located on the left side of the unit. Consisting of just an on/off switch and a knob, it is intuitive and trivially easy to operate . The easy-to-read display clearly shows the current battery level, power output and colour temperature of the light.

Compact and robust

The AL-F7 housing, made of high-quality plastic, not only offers an interesting design, but also provides excellent protection for the components placed inside. The low weight and compact design of the device, which is particularly appreciated during transport and travelling, are also of significance. The small size and three standard tripod mounts allow the flash to be easily attached to a camera, camcorder, rig or gimbal.

In addition to the LED panel itself, the Aputure Amaran AL-F7 kit includes:

• two diffusers allowing to change the character of the emitted light
• a small ball head enabling to mount the lamp in the flash sockets and on any photo-video tripod (with 1/4″ or 3/8″ mounting)
